So I thought I would let you all know what I've been up to lately. So for Christmas Eve, we took off from ministry, and we relaxed for the day. Then at night we went over to a teenager named Oscar's house. He works at El Puente, and so we decided it would be a good chance to experience how Nicaraguans celebrate Christmas. So we went over to his house around 9 and ate some chicken. Then we danced and at 11pm we went outside and the girls broke a piñata open. Then we went back in the house, and danced some more. Then at 12 we went outside and watched them light fire crackers and we walked back to El Puente. Then for our Christmas on the 25^th, we hung out at frank and Becca's, a local missionary family. We watched movies and ate tons of amazing food. Then Saturday we left for Laguna de Apoyo. It was so beautiful, the water was warm and clear and there was a floating dock, and kayaks. And the food was phenomenal. It was just a really good chance to relax and enjoy and recuperate. Although, when you decide to go sailing, you should make sure that it is windy, because if it isn't, you will end up swimming the boat back all the way to shore.
