Hey all I have arrived safely in Mexico! I have been up to doing so many cool things lately. When we arrived at the airport we were waiting for a while for the leaders to come and pick us up. Once they came we drove across the border and our vans all got checked for drugs, and weapons. Then we drove for a little while until we arrived at the AIM base in Buenos Aires Mexico. We ate some awesome tacos then played games all night. The next morning at breakfast we were told that we would practice the discipline of solitude. When I say solitude I mean completely alone…we ate by ourselves (food was supplied) sang to ourselves and did everything alone. We did this for three days. It was a good chance to re focus on God. Something I felt God put on my heart was asking for forgiveness for my transgressions. He did this through Psalm 39. Then later that night we ate together again with our teams. We talked about our solitude time and then we prophesied into each other. Then we played games in the mud. Then went out and met our Mexican family. My family consists of a mom and seven kids. They are an amazing family and it will be very interesting to talk to them without a translator right there to help us out. Today we got to go to school and we got to play with kids! One kid was attached to me, his name was Gonzalo. We have all been getting bitten by bugs…and the gnats are very annoying. We never know exactly what we will do but it is always fun and informative.

I love and miss everyone,

Garrett
